Today I am a witch. My clothes are normal (but all black) but I have a witch hat and broom, also green nail polish that glows in the dark. I also have done my makeup kind of dramatically. It’s kind of fun but most didn’t dress up. Oh well.
One would never know it was Halloween. [...]

Dress Up–Yes? or No?

We’ve been told we can wear costumes tomorrow if they are “appropriate.” I went to the deputy director after getting that email and said, “Appropriate? Does that mean I can’t come as a dominatrix?” She laughed and said although she would find that extremely funny, it probably wouldn’t be appropriate. Not that I would, of [...]
About Last Night

No, not what you think. I watched my grandchildren last night. My grandson came asleep and stayed asleep. I’m sure it was something I did wrong, but at about 9:30 my granddaughter started screaming. The only thing I can think of is she had a tummy ache. She’ll just be four months old tomorrow so [...]

Forgot to mention what happened to Jennifer Hudson’s family as part of the tragedies. Not that I need to mention it, but I want to give her and the rest of her family their due respect and sympathies also. They are all in my prayers.
Bad News Everywhere

I must say, what is going on in the world today is very disturbing. If I think about it too much, I get a panicky feeling, so I try not to let it sink too deeply into my sub-conscious. That newscaster that was beaten so badly in her own apartment has died. What a waste [...]
Monday Blues

No, I don’t really have the blues, but one could easily with the weather behaving like it is. It is cold and very windy. A biting wind that is announcing that winter is on its way and one better get prepared for it. I wouldn’t mind winter so bad if the sidewalks, streets and parking [...]

I realize I went to those movies and never critiqued them here. Both were good. “Body of Lies” was disturbing and violent, but it was well done. “Duchess” was very good. I’m a goner for movies about old England.
It is official that I have my job until March 31st. I signed the offer letter today. [...]
Another Six Months

I “interviewed” for my job today. So, I am extended for another six months and hopefully even longer. This isn’t the most interesting job I’ve ever had, but I don’t mind it at all and I like the people. That says a lot. I don’t dread coming to work every day as I have with [...]
Another Wednesday

I can’t believe it has been a week since I’ve written here. I guess it is because when I have a chance I am trying to work on my online web site designing class. I am two weeks behind in that. Not really, I always manage to turn in assignments by the deadline, but I [...]
Hump Day

Well, it is Wednesday afternoon. The week is just past half over. It always seems downhill from here. I didn’t manage to get on yesterday and I won’t be on Friday. Tomorrow, who’s to say? I just don’t know for sure.
I had my grandkids over Sunday evening and Monday evening. Both times Demetri was asleep [...]
